2 channel EQ for tracking and mixing?
If you could have just one stereo/dual mono eq for tracking and mixing purposes...what would you choose? Vibe may be more important than fine tweaking since I can do the fine stuff in the daw.

Between $2-3k US?

Great River EQNV. It can do fine adjustments but it’s really a great tone shaper too where it gives you a lot of options. Think of it as a first cousin to a 1081 with a nice balance of vibe and detail.

The Retro is a lot it worth the extra money?

I have found a pair of JLM PEQ500's to be handy.

API 5500. A couple of clicks, and you're there!

Neve 1073/1081 (or similar), done!

So I grabbed a Great River Eq2-NV.

If I could only have one stereo/dual channel EQ, it would be a chandler curvebender.
I don't have one because it neither falls into my budget or, apparently, yours
:) . abduction
