Effectiveness of membrane absorbers at higher incidence

Hi all,

I have a similar question as TalkingTree in https://www.gearslutz.com/board/stud...-absorber.html

.. in reference to the angle of membrane absorber panels.

If I would hang such an absorber on my back wall (35 degree angle, as its a slanted ceiling), would the membrane still work efficiently? What can I expect in terms of performance?

Thanks,
Bastiaan

The important factor is placing the trap in an area of high pressure for its Fc.

.7 at Fc unfilled and .4 filled with insulation.

Jason or Andre, let me advertise my ignorance by asking a question: what is Fc?

The tuning of a pressure trap is called its center frequency or Fc for short
