instruments on Kiko

Hello Tchad,

I have a quick question about what instruments are being used on the Los Lobos song Kiko. If I rember correctly, the lick is somewhat of a hook and comes in after the verses and in other spots. It sounds to me like an accordian and a stringed instrument doubling the acc. My wife thinks the mystery dbl is harpsichordish. I think it sounds like an unplugged electric guitar mic'd acoustically. Are either of us close?

Sorry for the delay. I don't remember clearly what that is. There's definitely a button accordian played by David, the pluck is either an old Balwin electric harpsichord played by Mitchell, or a Quatro (4 string gtr like instrument) played by David.
I'll try to find out for sure.

I have Mitchell's old Baldwin Harpsichord BTW. Its great. I'm still 1/100th the player and producer that he is, but i can play the part from Veronica just about right :-)
