What is your favorite .sofa HRTF profile for binaural?
 
Hello,

There are many tools out there when it comes to binaural spatialization or Ambisonic to binaural conversion. Some of them allow the user to use his own .sofa HRTF profile. Which one do you prefer? Have you tried free libraries like those from CIPIC or Aachen?

I have tried th eSofa HRTFS - but I can't remember which one worked best. What I remember most is how weird the spectrograms were and how different the height filtering profile could be for each ear. Not necessarily the neat migrating frequency notch/bump I had been led to believe from reading the research.
