You mean there is a good chance of getting seasick when cornering?

Don't know what you mean. Experienced drivers don't have cornering issues.
It isn't a Porsche though, its a work truck.

Here's the whip.
The ladies love it, probably because it's a ladies car.

In Europe Cadillacs were famous for being so softly sprung and wallowy to drive that seasickness was a distinct possibility when driving on anything but a straight road (which we haven't got). :-)

That's funny. They should have come with a bottle of Gravol in the glove box.

after 20 odd years of driving junkers and second hand cars around the wife and I finally bought our first brand new car on the weekend, we have had it only two days, what a buzz I cannot tell you how cool this feels.. all leather interior, 7 seater with sun roof, 3 litre auto 18" alloys..

this is a generic image of the exact car we bought, one of my life goals finally accomplished.. to buy a brand new vehicle and look after it..

Congrats, you just wasted at least 30-40% (if not more) of the price you paid the second you drove that baby out of the car salon... :cop:

I'm never EVER going to buy a brand new car, it's a horrible waste of money IMO...

kpatz 24th April 2017 06:51 PM

I bought a new car in 2013. Still paying for it, and it doesn't have leather, sunroof, or anything else cool.

Never again. Used cars, and used synths from now on.

Don't be so rude. To each his own. Some people love to buy used car every few years. Fine, but it's waste of money also. If you drive new car for a long time, it's the same thing financially. That's not apliable for higher classes of course, but for those it doesn't matter.

Insider's tip. Look for deals when they start showing the new upcoming year's cars, usually in fall.
For instance in the fall of this year they will start showing the 2018's, you can buy a brand new 2017 that is still on the dealership lot for a huge cost savings. The car could have been built in Oct 2017, but come November you can pick it up for almost used prices with a full warranty, no miles on it, and little to no maintenance needed for years to come.
It's a dealership thing, they hate having the previous years models on the lot and want the space for the new models. ;)

EvilDragon 24th April 2017 08:56 PM

Well, I just got a used car half a year ago so I'm not in the market... especially with baby on the way ;)

Either way, I would probably look at a 2-3 years old car if funds allow. The car I currently drive is from 2004 because... funds were like that. :)

relis 24th April 2017 09:51 PM

And of course, there is a huge difference in buying cars in Croatia, Germany or USA. Speaking of year salary and for how long you have to work to afford a new car, it's usually much harder here.

Same with synths, still some are complaying the same, or more than others..:)

No pic handy but my ride is a Kia cee'd. They don't sell them in North America, but for those who watched the British Top Gear a few years back when it was still Clarkson & co, it was the model they used as the Reasonably Priced Car after the Suzuki Liana bit it.

Anton_Parrish 16th May 2017 02:32 AM

For these two years i am driving Chevrolet Spark from 2014. Could not afford more for car.

We have one iteration before that, a 328i from 1997. Great cars. Ours has almost 200 thousand kilometers on it and it's still perfect. Reliable, comfortable, a real pleasure to drive.

And I suppose you slutz are all riding with manual transmissions, right? You know, shifting gears and all! cooge

318ti here. Standard. Wonderful.
