I like the colors on those stripes.

lavadisco 25th October 2016 07:02 PM

Tolex tho. Not something you see on synths. Maybe just a graphic texture though.

Deleted User 25th October 2016 07:05 PM

I'm pretty sure it's a cassette duplicator. I know a winner when I see one.

New Vox Continental I reckon in different colours. The Vox O has a line through it like the 01 on the pic. This was shown at last NAMM I think

hagbard 25th October 2016 07:11 PM

2600 is tolex

Cool. Can it sound like this please?

Perplexo 25th October 2016 07:33 PM

Hope it's not another Volca.

Eric J 25th October 2016 07:48 PM

I hope it IS another Volca. Love those things...

DiGi_TaL 25th October 2016 07:54 PM

I would cancel my drumbrute order for this. I don't know why, but I trust korg more than any other company to create stuff i want. They just have my flavor (except for that minilogue filter lol)

It would be a great alternative. But you might need to find something with a decent snare. That's not really Korg's strong suit. They're the kings of the flaccid snare. (And no, you can't steal that name for a band. Kings of the Flaccid Snare is all mine!)

No kidding! I already feel bad about not being able to afford the DrumBrute. This can only make it worse.

miscend 25th October 2016 08:08 PM

Can't wait!

It looks like something it's going to be something vintage maybe another remake. But a larger Maxilogue with more voices than the ML would be good.

New drum machine based on 808/909 ¬¬

pisraeljones 25th October 2016 08:15 PM

That would be amazing.

redloheb 25th October 2016 08:15 PM

KARP 2600 mini?

Eric J 25th October 2016 08:21 PM

I would actually love to see a Volca Sample Pro or something along those lines. Bigger sample memory, more sequencer steps (32 or 64), 4 stage envelopes, etc. I can think of a load of improvements for my beloved Volca Sample.

sigment 25th October 2016 08:23 PM

What flags have those colors in them??:lol:

Could be an Arp 2600, the stripes could symbolize color coded patch cables (Wishful thinking).

Afaik Korg doesn't have a legacy of tolex machines and the ad looks vintage.

Yes, this is the time of year for Korg disappointments, like the Korg Liverpool above.

Time for a Maxilogue to rise up out of the harbor and attack Deepmind . . . like the ULTRAMAN episodes where two giant monsters fight each other.

The citizens of Tokyo run screaming.
