Sample Rate

Hi Richard, what are your sample rate settings? if you work 88 or 96, how do you deal with downsampling? In my experience I have noticed significant differences when it comes to space and separation between frequencies, either in mixing or using virtual instruments. Thanks!

Hi thanks for the message here, I typically record all my mixes at 24bit-96khz, and use my Apollo 16, and Dangerous Music 2BusLT/Monitor ST/DACST combo for mixing an monitoring. For downsampling my stereo mixes, I usually use my Apogee Rosetta 200's UV22HR function, 24 to 16-bit dithering process. I really notice a difference with field recordings and nature ambience, anything with lots of macro detail. :-)
