tips production for dancefloor?

Hi Erol, a really simple question please: Do you have any tips when producing electronic dance music? Any technical issues people should or should not do? What works? Any differences you pay attention to, compared to say... pop music?

Thanks for your time! kfhkh

I believe that every mix, no matter the type of music, needs to tell a story: each element is a character, and each speaks clearly when their time arrives. Too many voices shouting confuses people, I try to be clear and concise.. Kick out the stuff that is not saying anything, one character should clearly be identified as the ***hero***

Thanks for the insight. That would mean that character (be it vocal, pad or lead) must be able to carry itself then.
