Some S1 related questions ...

Can some tell me please
... where the saved S1 settings per song are located like scenes etc.?
On drive C or the partition
where the installed S1 folder resides?

...can a user define the default values of auto crossfades?
Maybe even per individual instrumentgroup?
(Let`s say value A for ones with transients, value B for others etc.)

Thank you.

1. You won't be able to access the scene info as it's embedded in the Song file.
Why do you need it?
If it's because you want to use the same scenes in a different song, just set the scenes up the way you want, delete all the actual audio info from the tracks then save it as a template.

2. Yes you can define as many different crossfades as you like and assign them to a key command or a button on your midi controller if you have one.
You do this using macros.

Macros are one of the most powerful features in S1 and many of the things that aren't available through default commands are available using macros.

You can define an unlimited number of different crossfades specifying the length, whether they're logarithmic or exponential, and the bend amount.

Create a new macro, search for 'Create Crossfades' in the commands section on the left, add it to the box on the right, then double click it in the box on the right to open the arguments fields then set it how you want.
Give it a name in the title field, click OK and say Yes to 'Do you want to change the macro filename as well' dialogue.

Rinse and repeat for different crossfade types.
