I present to you Harold Fatermyer's iconic "Axel F" from the movie Beverly Hills Cop. I used a Baloran The River for the intro lead, a Sequential pro 3 for the memorable bassline, and the FM engine from the Yamaha Montage for the DX7 parts. Lastly, Aly James Labs LM-1 was used to recreate the Linn Drum LM-2 drum box that was originally used for the percussion. I worked hard to make this as close as I could to the original with the synths I had available to me, so I hope that you enjoy it as much as I had in recreating it.
