5 octave marimba + Electronics (my new band)

Hey all,
Here's a new project of mine. It's a bit different . Fusing concert music percussion (especially a nice big 5 octave marimba) with electronics.

This is just one tune of a whole EP we have almost finished.

I hope you enjoy.
Featured electronic instruments:
MPC Live
Machinedrum + KP3
Voyager
Juno 60
Little Phatty

Cool stuff man. Really enjoyed it - original and very cleverly done!

My uncle (Robert Lloyd) used to make a lot of percussive music, it reminds me of him. ... and that's a compliment

Thanks guys. Glad you enjoyed it. Ranzee, that's interesting to hear about your uncle. I'll look him up. This guy I'm guessing?

Robert Lloyd - Australian recordings, performances

OK, so this project of mine is called Shugorei. We're still getting our stuff together, but here are a few more snippets. This is just Nozomi and me practicing, and I've spliced the phone video together. So the audio is not wonderful but still a bit of fun.
