MP3, SD2 to BWAV Batch Conversion w/Metadata?????

I need to batch convert a few thousand music cues from MP3 (and some oddball SD2) to BWAV so they can be easily searched in the Digibase in Pro Tools, I need it to translate the ID3 metadata from the MP3 to file comments in the BWAV... Does anybody know of software that can do this?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Audiofile Engineering's Sample Manager might be able to handle this.

Here's a link: Audiofile Engineering - Sample Manager

Hope this helps!

Sample Manager currently can't convert from compressed formats of any kind, unfortunately. They've told me that it's a planned addition though as it's an often-requested feature, although they wouldn't/couldn't provide a timeline for the availability of said feature.

Sample mananger is a no go, barbabatch doesnt have any options to handle metadata...

I have a soundminer 3 license I will upgrade to v4pro, I havent used soundminer in years but this seems to be the ticket for now.

Thanks guys!

Soundminer has an MP3 utility that will put metadata from BWAVS into MP3's.

MP3's use ID3.

+1 sound Grinder - brilliant metadata editor and ability to make decent shortcuts. Some niggles, but been thrashing this for the last few weeks and its been great.
Sample manager just didnt address metadata issues for me, and there's limited info you can put into any soundcloud uploads either, frustrated by those guys.

TwistedWave can do that also, with its batch mode.
