Can anyone recommend reliable cheap cloud storage, preferably at least 1tb.

A good search will yield the usual results like Mozy Pro and what not. Keep
in mind that it will take you about 750 hours to upload 1TB of data if
you have 3 mbit of upload. If you need to share with a bunch of sites then
cloud storage may be the way to go.

Most cloud storage providers assume that you have a tiny upload rate
and that you couldn't possibly actually use all of the storage they are
selling. Hence they might be "over-selling" if you actually need 1TB and
they might boot you because their actual costs don't necessarily line
up with what they are charging you.

If you roll your own Amazon S3 storage using an app like Cloudberry Explorer
you can send a drive to Amazon and for $70 (? haven't checked recently)
they will dump it into an S3 bucket for you. Amazon will not boot you but
they will actually charge you for what you use. Amazon's rate for storage
is really low in terms of actual costs.

I've looked into it and, as Dustin says, the main issue is getting your data "airborne." And for me, a huge secondary issue is the utter uselessness of most hotels' so-called broadband connections. So for now, my "cloud" will continue to be a bunch of FW drives in the trunk of my car.
