Sound Effects for advert/movie trailer

Hi Guys,

I normally make dance music but for my Rugby Club i have been asked to make a video with cool sounds.

The sounds i am after are mainly the bumps/swooshes etc which are normally used in movie trailers for the transitions between shots and also when the film title swoops in. Does that make sense?

Can anyone recommend a cheap royalty-free sound library or perhaps even a website which has samples for free?

It does not matter if its a generic industry standard library that has been used to death.

Cheers
DS

Most free sound you may find in the internet have restrictions for NOT being used in ads/trailers.

If you need cool sounds, you need to buy them.

There are many cool sfx libraries for such task.

Kuba

If you don't want to get a large collection of sounds, you can try Download Sound Effects | SoundDogs.com where you'll pay on a sound-by-sound basis. The preview mp3s are horrible quality though.

no problem, Designingsound.org has a great collection of "indie" sfx libraries to thumb through. Some real amazing packs in there.
