Wildlife foley, clicks and QC

Just wondering how people avoid QC problems with scenes say of animals moving around in a very dry environment. I've had rejections because of clicks where it's very obviously dry branches etc?

Generally I just bat any notes like that away with "directors intention". Have never had anyone come back after that. There is an element of common sense missing sometimes in QC i find.

yeah "creative intent" gets you out of BS QC notes like clicks that are really foley.

or now with **** at-home ADR I've used "best possible"... makes me sad, but pushes it through...
