Audio files shorter than they used to be

Hi!

Just opened up a mix to notice that the audio files aren't what they were two days ago. They just stop mid song. I've checked the source audio files and it seems that the wav files themselves are the issue. How is it possible that the source files have changed in length and suddenly don't have all the of the song anymore ? Could the files have become corrupted or is the audio drive I'm having them on starting to corrupt?

Anyone experienced this issue before ?

What DAW are you using? What OS are you on? etc. etc.

The "Microsoft PCM WAV" format has a maximum size of 4 GB (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV#Limitations)

If you had the original audio project, you could have exported in a format that supports longer recordings, such as FLAC, OGG or MP3.
