Recently I got an old TC electronic DB-8 (the old, original "MK1").

The frame was delivered with frame and dsp version 1.34 and I just wanted to do an update to the latest available version 3.40.

Unfortunately all the links to the software downloads are broken ( https://service.tcgroup.tc/db-8software.asp ).

I called the support, they sent me the update-files but the dsp software (DSPDB340.arm) is reported as corrupt:

It's been not easy to get these files from them because the unit is so old. But now the frame isn't working anymore and I badly need a working update file.


Is someone out there who could send me a working DSPDB340.arm file?

*solved*

I found out the problem was a syntax error in m6kappl.ctl, somehow the command was "LPARM DSPDB340.arm -F" but needed to be "LDARM DSPDB340.arm -F".

The TC support even sent me a newer update, DSP & Frame Version 4.00. Everything works perfectly now.
