ReVibe users -> PT Ideascale, please vote!

Hey folks,

anybody using/having used ReVibe - I myself love it for post and dread its CPU bogging performance.
Especially using a multi-mono instance to simulate panning-dependent reverb, it blows up to 5x the performance of a 5.0 instance!

Under the hood, ReVibe is always surround. So it is doing "5 channels" of reverb as a mono instance, and then downmixing. So it is also doing 5 channels as a 5.0 reverb, but 25 (!) as a multimono surround.

I have an ideascale vote up for either doing a true mono version and/or revisiting its DSP hogging nature.
Avid support are looking into this also, but have recommended and ideascale vote.

So, if you are on ideascale, or use ReVibe, please vote for this:
ReVibe - general performance hog, also 5.0 multi-mono instance is 5x load of 5.0

There is a DEMO SESSION attached there to explain/demonstrate the issue...

Cheers for participating, spreading, nagging on to Avid for this
Andrew
