rx loudness control and hitting specs

Hi post gurus,
I'm working on a series of videos that have this spec:

-16 LKFS, +/- 1.1, true peak at -0.3

Fine. I mix using izotope insight meters, everything looks great and within spec.
Then I bounce the mix and just to be extra sure, I run it through Izotope Loudness Control so it doesn't get kicked back.

It analyzes, I render and presto, new fully compliant mix. But no!

When I put this newly rendered "compliant" mix back into a new track, with a new instance of insight, it now reads it at a different LUFS! (usually -20)

can't figure out where i went wrong

What software are you using, and how are you routing signals? It sounds as if there's a routing-error at some point.

I know Waves WLM gives different read outs if you've got a multi-mono instance vs a multichannel. Could it be that?

Hey

I just had the same problem

For some reason, it seemed to be that it was because i had the track sending to the mix bus and a record track.
But it didnt even have a record track made.

So im not sure why it did that.

There was no record track hidden.

But when i took the second output off, it went back to where it should be.

WLM though does seem to be slightly different!
