No I got the point. He doesn't want more digital music because people can't "feel it" enough. Cool story bro, looks like you'll never release another album again cause piracy ain't dying anytime soon and neither is digital.
oh no the world will miss out on the new Prince tripple CD called something like "R8ve un2 the dawn of time 4 U" or something similar, his latest release of his slickest funks n jams, with each track that goes for 25 minutes with solos by each instrument and serious noodling.
Personally as a Prince fan of his 80's work, I am happy for this decision.
Some use this forum to discuss more or less interesting issues and some to virtually man the f*** up and pose around to make themselves feel better. Yawn.
Here's to hoping he'll release another album due to piracy having shrunk to a less blooming level after some regulation has been introduced which will at least stop the average Tom Dick and Harry thieving, as it has then become too much hassle. Doesn't need to become impossible, which it wouldn't ever anyway, only too much hassle for the crowd to bother anymore. If your provider blocks all the torrent out of view it will be trickier to get to the ripped vinyl, Johnny.....This hopefully after the incoming digital plundering of books/authours upsets enough intellectual people and causes a more widespread stink about other people than the less than highly regarded music business lot losing their income........so with faith and luck in a few years.
Having said all that I'll probably always prefer putting on Sign O the Times over anything new he'll bring out........
It's his music, he can release it or not. I like his music, it must be well made or I'd run from the room, but I've never bought (or downloaded) any.
I'm in two minds over this one. I believe they should be private, but in my opinion the one in question is borderline grounds for banning regardless. There doesn't appear to be anything in the rules about it. I guess I'd just forward it to Jules.
