Death in the live room

Here are some pics of the death part acoustic in the LR. Each step on the same point of view.

Diffusor

To be coherent with myself, I had to DIY my diffusor as my studio is DIY. So, I ordered 300m of Ayous wood and black MDF pre cut pannel.

Not floating this time

The whole studio is floating on merformer but the LR and CR are not decoupling. So, in the goal to slow down and attenuate the transmission between both room, regupol is laid down on the LR floor. It also have the propriety to make the room sound better.

So ... the different capacitors produce a different kind of light?

Yes, when you're using the Russian, Vu light in red (of course ) . If you choose the German, the VU change in green. Some led in the VU do the trick. For now, what I noticed in term of sound of those output caps, is that the russian seems to have more low end content (yet they are suppose to have the same capacitance). Russian is paper/oil. German is platinium film.

nearly there

since I haven't post anything from december, here is the last pics from the construction. There is a gap when the speakers have been hang up (because I'm not allowed to show it). Also, I'm nearly finished since I need now to weld the patch and desk IO only.
