Quote of my brother in law about my way of life ("those musicians!")
Some times later I've seen "vie héroique"-film about Serge Gainsbourg- and the formule comes again-that counterbalance-so I keep it.
hello! hope you had some nice time for christmas as I did!
Here are some new pics. It's about the inner shell. It's going pretty fast.
That take us two day, but the CR would be more difficult as there are no concrete wall there.
There is also a pic of the lift door-ready to paint!.
Happy new year! Best wishes to everybody.
So, the framework is done. There are just 1m left on each side of the CRLR wall, so the mason could work on the metal beam. I hope you'll enjoy the pics.
This is going to be a great room! I love the building (I'm an architecture student)
Many thanks! All is done too keep the original aspect of it.
I'm applying some treatment on the wood frame now. It prevent mushroom and insect to eat the wood. Note that it's a 100% ecological product and that its action grows in time, opposite to chemical one that stop protecting woo dafter 5 or 10 years.
I 've taken the time to write it done cause it's a Belgium patent product. It's called Woodbliss by Galatane. It's also cheaper ( /m2) than others...
Nice build dude, very nice ceiling wooden construction. Will parts of it be visable in the end?
Thanks a lot! I wish I could have keep the old oak beam that can be see in some of first pics but floating floor around was too much difficult. The outer shell won't of course be seen neither the inner shell. There are again a lot of insulation and gyps that have to come!
Here are some pics of the booth that will contain the airing system.
It's floated too but separately from LR.
The room below will become a small bathroom for the lounge.
Concrete will be pour this WE. But I will remove the concrete bloc and set a OSB frame between it and Regufoam.
Concrete and block are almost finished. The space around the lift is ready to be pour with concrete. Around hundred block to stack than I'll get crazy with cables (sound light cat6 coax power...) and air pipe.
