Ok, sorry… I was quite unconfident with the white leads in the top row…
(And I know that sorting away a bad connection during a session is quite a nighmare…)

Belgium granite for the lads

Well I love the granite floor best -

Granite floors not for the faint hearted-

We thought of marble- but Roger advised against :-) hahahaaaaaaa

Does that (heavy) Neve unit only hang on 4 front screws? No screws on the back of the rack??

Hey guys, just a quick note to say that I'll be live-tweeting pictures from the install at convenient moments during the day for those with itchy fingers. You can follow me here: @mrtonydraper

That's some serious porn! Gearslutz needs a parental advisory.
If you ever happen to have a Doors Open Day, I'd love to visit this place.

Just a novice question, the main ATC speakers look like they are mounted well below the height of the meter bridge on the new desk, maybe it's the camera angle but if not, wouldn't that effect the line of site clarity for the engineer?
Sure there's something I'm missing? Could you explain?

I can answer this

Hi- The crucial elemnent is the mid drivers are at the engineers ear height- which they are - the 15inch drivers are the low end as are the subs that are actually under the desk.

The front speakers and indeed the rear drivers are at the perfect height for the engineer - :-)

Cheers for your comments

Doesn't the desk look fabulous :-) !!!!!

Yes Andy is correct. The mid drivers of all the speakers are at ear level.

Check out some pics of the B&W's at Abbey road. It's the same there with their bass drivers.
