Well I hope you have all enjoyed following our progress in 2011, we made major changes to the studio build along the way like building a new smaller booth and making the live-room bigger! We also made a very bold decision to become one of only two studios in the UK to have full stem mixing capability with our Neve! These decisions have resulted in time being added on to the build and a load more money being spent, not least on cable!

I'd like to thank the lads who are on the assistants roster for all their help in the construction, it's great to see young people getting so involved at this stage before we even open. A big thank you to the tradesmen who have worked on the build, especially Graham whose attention to detail is second to none.

I have to say a massive thank you to Roger D'Arcy who is the best studio designer that has has ever graced our planet! He is always at the end of the phone to answer even the smallest of questions.

The biggest of thank you's has to go to the man who has made this all possible in the first place, Andy. Without his belief, hard work and vision, none of this would have happened! (not to mention his addiction to buying gear!)

2012 will be the year for Analogue Baby! We will be opening soon and getting our first project in! Let's hope that in 2012 we will also be able to go watch a film or play a game that has a score that's been mixed at our place!

Happy new year everyone!

Happy New Year

Yes Greg thanks for that.

Its been a slog to get this far believe me and theres still a way to go- but we'll get there.

A big thanks to everybody who has, and is, helping out on the build . I've said it before but will say again, we are building something very special at AB for the UK Film Game and Music markets- there is now an alternative to "the big boys" and I hope people consider us finally when we open.

Happy New year to you - lets hope 2012 is a good year for us all.

All the best

Andy

Oh joy! A late Christmas present from AMS-Neve just arrived!

It's our new even bigger patch layout

This is just the patch for the console, not any of our outboard

The left hand side looks great, nice and simple!

Unfortunately, there is a right hand side too...................

Door hanging starts today

Well another milestone has been reached today- Greg and Graham have started hanging our colossal ash doors today..........

Its a massive job.......... its takes a whole day PER DOOR with 2 people to finish :-(

This is of course doing the job right........... which at AB we like to think we try and do things right !!!!!

hopefully pics will follow from chubbfingers later
