We start sorting out and terminating the dirty power cables, leaving about 25 lighting feeds! The din rail board for the lighting should be here ready for next weekends electrical work.

When Richard fits the Clipsol C-Bus system, which will control all of the lighting from iPads and iPod touch, I will attach the status outputs from the TVSS to a C-Bus Bus Coupler. I will program the C-Bus to send an allert if the TVSS shows a fault and let anyone in the building know by altering the lighting scene.

Hey cheers bud

Hey Mika,

Cheers for your kind comments !!!!!!!

Yes I agree , I've been sort of responsible for the aesthetics of the building lights , colours etc and yes it's very important to get a good friendly and modern vibe going for clients and your own staff working there....

Sort of a home from home thing really....

We've spent a lot of money on the aesthetics and used only the highest quality finishing materials that we could get our hands on.....

The granite floor is a belgian 20mm thick stone absolutely stunning in the flesh, the studio doors and frames are solid ash custom built by a local guy we know.....

It's worth doing it right first time round......

I can't afford to do this again .....

Has to be right !!!!!

Thanks again mate your comments and good vibes it's all duly noted.....

Best

Andy

I think the optical design is soooo important to get the customer a good feeling.
I also spend a lot of time and money just to make my studio look special, modern, and relaxed.
I also have a granit floor, but mine is only granite looking lamintae floor (budget reasons).
So i am waiting for the final pics, of your rooms. I bet the will lokking killer
cheers

(photography slut reporting in...)

Reduce the power of the flash by a stop (-1ev) and slow your shutter speed down. This lets you balance the amount of flash vs. ambient light... Or pop a little softener over the top http://www.jessops.com/online.store/...0441/show.html

The inbuilt flash on the 500d isnt high enough and with my longer lenses on it casts a shadow because it doesnt fill properly.

I dont want to use a shorter shutter speed as some of my shots are action shots, makes it look like we are working harder!

The IET recomend that earthing rods are wired in parallel, as we only had 2 they are neither in parallel or series.................

As we had a few metres of 50mm earthing cable left over, we put it to good use! heh
