What we thought was a program sent by RA was just a scale drawing that could be read by AutoCAD

Luckily, Will turned it into a program for their machines within about 10 mins!

There is no such thing a a generic CNC program because there are loads of different machines that all have different CAM software.

Will had to write and compile the program from the drawings, its standard practice apparently.

Yea, we're waiting for the iPad app to come out for our mill. I've asked that it have an interpreter that knows what we mean when we say "and stuff".

The panels are designed by Roger, the holes are 80mm diameter.

They work partly by diffusion and partly by manifold theorum, same as blowing across a milk bottle.

I think its just as many equaly spaced holes as possible.

I had a great day today when 1800kg's of granite floor tiles got dropped off outside the studio, the only way to get them in was to carry them in one by one :-(

The best tiler on the planet

This is Michael Bridges from Chester.....

He is without a doubt a WORLD CLASS tiler.......

He tiled my new kitchen last month and it was a work of art...... Totally amazing, and this floor will be no different....

He may lay 6 tiles in a day but those tiles are PERFECT..........

As somebody told me close to our hearts GRANITE floors are for the lads heheheheheheheheheh

These tiles were specially imported by a friend of ours, if you like them I'll give you her address and details, as I will Michael's number.....

BLACK SAPPHIRE HONED Natural finish..... Whatever you do don't get a polished tile, Granite is hard as is Quartz but a polished surface will scratch..... Go for a natural "honed" finish....... You won't go far wrong.....

Just my advice........

Thanks for checking in fellas and ladies....

Making a note of these guy's names for when we need work done.

Our last joiner was crap and the guy who tiled our kitchen must have been the only blind tiler in Merseyside heh Patterns don't match up, drop stuff on the floor and you can hear that some are barely stuck down

And our electrician did SOMETHING wrong. No circuit breaker now, remedies the issue heh

Hey cheers mate

Hi Chris

That microwave forms an integral part of our monitoring mate, it has an impeccable sound to it :-)

Yes the tiles are beautiful, they look polished in the photographs but in reality they have a matt sheen to them, the tiles are 20mm thick you can just about lift one on your own.....

Thanks for looking mate it's appreciated

Talk soon
