That top picture, at the top of the rack will it be deep enough to fit gear into comfortably?

racks

Hi

Good observation, but yes, the first of the angles racks will contain slim M&M patch bay units ( 17 u of desk patch ) and the second rack will contain "the studios patch" probably 6-8 u..... the units are very slim so we should have no problems, but I agree it does look tight......... these are only rough sketches mind, and not to scale obviously, they were drawn by Roger as we asked him we needed to increase the u capacity in the centre section, when we ordered the film scoring panel for our 88RS the patch bay increased dramatically from something like 7-8 U TO 17U, and at one point it was nearly going to be 20 U....... that's a huge patch bay for a 60 channel desk !!!!

Cheers for your interest in our project......

Update

Ok

We have had the sparky's in for a full week last week, it's going well....dougie our main builder had a few days off with his family this enabled us to crash on with the electric installation infrastructure of the building..... It's a big job but we are getting there.......

Dougie is back Monday for a full week so the back deck will get finished ..... We are running lighting to the deck area putting LED cats eye lighting to the step area and perimeter ..... This will look fantastic and vibey, people are going to appreciate the time and effort spent I hope !!!!!!

The midband absorbtion will fly up next week, we will then have to wait for the finishing silk screened fabric to come back from the manufacturer after colour matching.......

We are speaking to the bespoke glass manufacturer next week to check out his work and go over our piece with him......

Will put up pictures next week of electrical install and the finished deck.....

Our tiler came today to way the job up for our Granite flooring from the forward monitoring area to the middle effects and patch racks.... This guy is totally amazing, he's just completed 150m2 of floor tilling at my new home, it's as good as it gets......

We hope all of this is worth it.....!!!!!!!!!

I can only do this once.......

Have a good weekend people :-)

Over and out

Andy

This whole place looks awesome, i'm getting a very space age vibe....

Here it's very retro styling and whatnot, I really like both, it would be cool to take a look around.

Good to have another large format console studio in the north...
