Studio Desk Build

Just built a studio desk. Hacked a second hand office desk. The desk was reinforced with metal and wood brackets. I had to raise the desk by 10cms to accommodate the keyboard draw. The stands are made with 25mm MDF with 30mm anti vibration foam (used in cars) sandwich between 2 of the MDFboards. Also 25mm MDF on the bottom of stands with speaker spikes. They are very very heavy. The stands are covered in 6mm cork to help with damping. The desktop is covered with 10mm cork. All varnished with about 8 coats of varnish. The stands are spiked to metal disks on desk. Very tidy works a dream

Thanks. The 101 is a lovely sounding synth. I have had the Tubbutec sh-1oh1 mod done so really brings it upto date.

I'm not familiar with that mod.

Looks interesting enough to get me looking for an SH101 again. I had the mate seq unit too.
Thanks
