FL Studio20 + Softube + Win10 = crash

I have 3 of the Softube Marshalls and get Fruity Wrapper errors when trying to load them and then Fruity freezes and I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to exit.

I've contacted Softube and am waiting on a reply. This problem familiar to anyone?

Similar experience here.

I'm on Cakewalk primarily, and all my softube plugins have started crashing my projects out of the blue. Updated, re-installed, re-scanned various times and nothing has changed. This is a softube plugin only problem.

Did you hear back?

There's threads on KVR, Pre Sonus and Reaper forums about this. Seems like a pretty widespread windows and softube bug. I'm also getting the same crash on Reaper.

Here's hoping Softube can sort it. Their support isn't generally very good, so I have low expectations.

No replies and I've emailed a number of times. Hope this gets fixed!

Seems to be OpenGL renderer issue. Tech Support offered a solution, their "install helper" that did not work for me.

I got a response from Softube support, and the fix actually worked.

Please go to the following location on your PC:
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Softube
Remove all txt files in that folder

'AppData' is a hidden folder so it might not show up be default. You can make it appear bu clicking 'Hidden Items' on the 'View' tab.

Let me know how you get on. Everything seems back to normal for me now.

Thanks LG! This worked temporarily for me, however I've had to repeat the hack several times since in my experience the files restore & recorrupt themselves ad infinitum. Hopefully a real fix will be released by the "Rock 'n Roll Scientists" soon.
