Samplitude Pro X / Pro X3 / Pro X4 EQ question

Dear friends,

On one of my computers for location recording I have a Pro X.
On my main computer, in my control room, I have Pro X3 Suite and Pro X4 Suite.

I use the EQ in the Pro X, on location.
Back home, I reload the .vip in the Pro X3 or 4: the EQ is not the EQ116 (the one by default) but the 4 band one, the one by default in Pro X.
OK.

Is there any tip to switch the EQ to have the EQ116 replacing the 4 band EQ? I mean, even if it cancels what I did on location?

Many thanks for your answers.

Fred.

hm, probably not, but...
you might try to "rename" the plugin-file and see what happens :-)

In Pro X you can apply the EQ116 in the plugin slots, right? This way it will wake up the same way in Pro X3 and above.

Hi Fred,

the only way to make it version stable is, to load the EQ in the insert slot. In early version there was no EQ 116, so for that even that doesn't work.

You can mark all tracks at once and insert the EQ or you can create a template with the EQ.

Greets,
