Early '00s DAW For Kids?
Hi all!
For a while now, I've been trying to remember this loop-based DAW my friend had when we were kids. I don't really remember much about it at all though, including the name. Sadly, my friend doesn't remember it much either.
From what I can remember though, it was a heavily cartoon-stylised DAW from around the early 2000s or maybe late 90s. It used simplistic 3D modelling for its interface, GUI, etc. and each instrument had eyes. For example, if you chose a vocal MIDI sample, your cursor would change to a 3D modelled microphone with eyes. There was a rainbow function with the pencil tool that randomised everything.
It was more like an entertainment app than a DAW. Sort of game-ish.
From what I remember, the DAW was based on using a pencil tool on a piano roll and making music from that, and not much else.
I can't think of any more info, but if anyone has any questions, they might help.
Thanks in advance!
Adam
