Question MASTER ch. peaking - Ozone not peaking.....

Hi all,

Im using Logic Pro X for Mixdown.
All individual ch. gain levels are at MAX 25dB, so average about -10dB headroom.
On the MASTER ch. i've got 2 compressors with around 6dB gain combined.
The MASTER ch. is showing clipping while the Ozone 5 Imager (on the MASTER ch.) shows -7.0 Peak.

Trust Ozone? (surely?)

I can't try SSL X-ISM as its not 64bit :(

Thanks!

I don't use Logic Pro, but in Reaper my master bus meters closely match what I see in Ozone 5.
FWIW, in Reaper I can right-click on the master bus meter and change the metering between peak, RMS, Multichannel peak metering, etc. You can do the same with the metering in Ozone.
Is it possible that your meter settings are different?
Ya might throw a limiter with metering onto your master bus and look at what level the limiter kicks in.

I had Ozone inserted before the compressors, thats the reason i was getting somewhat higher levels in DAW.
