90's Greenday Mix in need of some HELP

Critique Novice Pop Punk Mix?

Can anyone out there in GS land help me improve my mix? I feel like I could really benefit from a more seasoned perspective..

This is a clip from a project for a 90's skate/pop Punk style band (early Greenday, Sum 41 esque) I just recently started mixing and it needs some help! Well.. it's not horrible, but

I'm feeling like the overall realism is suffering somewhere (probably missing something in many different frequencies) my main concern is getting the vocals to sit without having to do so much unnatural boosting and to create a more realistic space for the instruments to sit in.

Can anyone tell me where I can improve here? Any responses would be greatly appreciated guys and girls! Thanks!

I just realized I probably posted this thread to the wrong forum category, so I apologize for that guys!

Can anyone tell me the best place to post an upload/critique on Gearslutz? I've only posted here once or twice and I'm lost :/
