Why is my voice sounding so low?

Here is a video from you tube when I am trying to compare the preamps from the Great River MP-2NV with the fireface UFX.

RME UFX vs Great river preamps - YouTube

There is no compression or eq. In Adobe Premiere Pro I have "normalised max peak" to equal 0 db.

Whatever I do I sound so deep like I'm a distant relatives of Barry Whites. Could you help me improve my vocals thanks

Maybe that's just your voice?

What mic were you using? Might just be the proximity effect of said mic accentuating the bass.
