digital data through BNC port

I'm looking at buying a used Level Meter and the seller states that it recieves its data through BNC port. It has two BNC ports. I am assuming one for right and left sides.
I have an open AES out port on my mixer. I googled aes to bnc and found basic cables that are 110 Ohm XLR to female BNC. I cant seem find one that splits the XLR signals in two legs though.
I'm not to fimiliar with BNC execpt sending word clock.
If anyone has a meter that uses BNC for its signal can you explain how to hook it up.
Cheers

I don't have one but dare to suggest the digital signal is stereo ( always ) and the other connector is for trough, so that you won' t waste an output just for metering.
