Mixer Setup Problem - Panasonic AG-HMX100

Am having an audio issue setting up a Digital AV Mixer. I come from a Video background with a little bit of audio knowledge.

The basic issue is that what ever audio I send into the mixer is pumped out of the mixer at a very low level.

For example I have a Senhheiser Radio Mic Receiver plugged into XLR input 2 and the transmitter attached to a RODE shotgun mic (Just a test setup). On the mixer I get very low, almost no levels.

I also have a Polycom Audio System plugged into XLR input 2 which I pick up reasonably well however the output from the deck into my Final Cut Pro edit suit is pretty low.

Any thoughts or obvious things I have not done.

Thanks for any assistance it will be much appreciated.

There are a number of things that could be the problem, and it's har d to tell without being there..

Check that all your ins and outs are the same kind. Is it +4 line level? or Mic level? or..

Also, on your wireless receiver there will probably be a level, or an attenuation setting. Check what that is set to.

Have you set the gains/input levels on your mixer?
