Effects Loop Send Return
Hey,

So I've been jamming with a Ditto Looper and using a Katana 100. In order to have different effects and using an octaver in my loops I use the effects loop feature of the amp.

However... When I change channels and effects all overdubs change as well.

I have my guitar plugged in directly in the amp input and then the input of the pedal connected to SEND and the output to RETURN.

Am I doing it wrong?

Sounds like the amp internal effects are post effects loop:

guitar > amp preamp > send > looper > return > amp internal effects > amp power amp

See if there is a block diagram in the manual that will confirm where the effects send/return is in the signal path.
