Minor Scales and Frequency Analysers - what note represents minor scales

Hi friends,

I have a question noobish regarding tuning drums and other sounds to suit the key of a track, using a frequency analysers as a guide (in my case, Ableton's Spectrum).

In particular, what frequency note do minor scales correspond with? To rephrase, which note in frequency analysers represent minor scales?

For example, I have track in the key of Gm, relative minor of Bb. So, what note should I be aiming fro in the frequency analyser/spectrum when tuning my drum etc?

is the tonic note of a scale the note i should tune other sounds to match?

I would absolutely love some assistance!

Yeah, I agree. You should use your ears, not look at a plugin.

Also, don't focus only on a scale, because not only do scales change but often so do keys.

But yeah... ears...

If you have two heads on the drum you need to tune them so they speak together.

Frequency analyzers for tuning drums is not a very good idea. Tune with your ears, not your eyes.

Tune each drum so each drum according to each drum that is on that particular drum set. Forget about tuning drums for each song. Its not done
