Feedback loops and effect pedals

Greetings to anyone who takes his/her time to read this thread.
I’m starting an experimental/noise music project (consider me a total newbie) and was wondering if there is a way to incorporate effect pedals to a mixer that doesn’t have an EFX Send (like the Mackie Mix 5, behringer xenyx 502)
Any tips or tutorials for the cables and routing will be much appreciated.

If it doesn't have sends for each track, then it needs to have at least 4 outs and the ability to send each channel to any of those outs. Then you can send outs 3 and/or 4 to a pedal and back into another track of the mixer and then into the DAW using outs 1/2.
Or you can send outs 3 and/or 4 to the pedal and into your audio interface and then into your DAW.

Just use the routing that are available. Ins and outs are ins and outs. They do what they say. Nothing hidden
