Issue with Akai mpk249 Midi keyboard

The usb port 2.0 type B female connector used to power the midi keyboard broke off the PCB Board. i soldered a new connector onto the pcb board. When i try to power on my Midi keyboard now I get the message that you see in the attached thumbnail. The problem is not the usb ports on my MacBook. When i plug in other usb devices they work. Not sure what the problem is?

Need more information.
Pics of USB port you replaced and solder points.
Are you a tech? Do you know what your doing as far as repairing digital circuits? My first guess is that the new USB port was not soldered correctly or that there was another issue when the USB port came loose, like possibly a pulled pad.
