how to connect keyboards to converers

Hello !

I've been collecting some synths and my first mic pres are coming in soon to my little studio.

I use apollo x8p, and all 8 inputs are full now, so I need 8 more channel for my keyboards and mic preamps.

my eyes on Lucid 88192 or 8824.

so my question is ;

keyboards (few synths) let's say 6 outputs go in to Lucid 8824

but at this stage, cable has to be 1/4 trs to XLR, is that correct?

Then adat out from lucid8824 that goes in to apollo adat in.

Lucid 8824/88192 only have XLR INPUT/OUTPUTS so I'm confused since I've been just working with audio interfaces which have XLR/ or 1/4" Inputs or outputs.

let me know if I'm doing it right or please correct me

thanks!
