Will I lose signal using a splitter cable?

Hello!

I want to split the signal coming from a line level modern synthesizer (Arturia MiniBrute) into 2 lines.

Will I loose sound quality if I make a splitter cable?
I could solder a 1/4 female connector into 2 1/4 female connectors.

thanks

Probably not. If you are feeding modern, solid-state equipment (built since, say 1980), the input impedances should be high enough that it will not unduly load the output of the synth.

There's always the possibility of a ground loop causing hum. But keep cables short, say 1 meter or less, and all the equipment on the same AC circuit that shouldn't be a problem

In general that should not be a problem.
The power and impedance at line level should not cause any noticable quality loss.
That's why we prefer splitting at line level.
