How to get Matt Bellamy (Muse) Live Tone?

I'm talking in particular about a few seconds of recording that completely blew me away: this. The tone is just crushing. I know he uses his signature Manson MBK-2 pickup, I'm guessing for this he's using a Diezel amp as he enjoys those for high gain tones, and he's playing the riff with power chords whereas he normally (and on the album) uses single note positions. This also means the root notes of all the power chords are on his massively huge 60 gauge low D string which probably adds a fair bit itself.

Anyone have any pointers I haven't already mentioned?
