Neumann KH310d Analog vs Digital Input

I just received some new neumann kh310d. My interface is an Apogee Element 46. I like the converters in the Apogee, and don't need the digital delay on the kh310, so I assume I should just run the line out to the monitor analog in. Would there be a benefit of keeping the signal digital and going into the digital in on the monitor instead? Its going to have to hit a DAC at some point regardless.

Thanks!
Chris

I would tend to think that you will would hear more detail from using the digital inputs.
