Understand max SPL difference of mics

Understand max SPL difference of mics

Mic 1 got 137dB SPL
Mic 2 got 146dB SPL

So according to calculation, 146dB is 7.94x more intense that 137dB.

Does that mean a mic 2 can handle 7.94x more intense sound that mic 1 ?

Also how sound intensity/dB corresponds to perceived volume by human ear ?

Does it mean 146dB will sound 7.94x louder than 137dB ?

Or put simply: if 137dB = volume 10, than 146dB = volume 79.4 ?

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong, i am just starting out, thanks!
