I guess, maybe a follow up to HDX.
What I'm hoping is:

DSP being optional (I don't want it, a lot of people don't, other people do).
So it'll be cool if going forward, DSP is optional and there are no 'pro features' tied to the DSP system. The user decides, the DSP option is not necessarily 'above' the native option. Mix and match.

There should be no IO limit on a native system.
There should be no 'ADC on sends only on DSP' or any nonsense like that.

Those who want it, use DSP, those who don't don't.

I wouldn't be surprised if they dump DSP chips in favour of X86 servers like Waves, or even node sharing via thunderbolt or maybe ARM.

We'll see.

I'd say it means something else, but it definitely seems to be tied with that DSP button.

Maybe a quick way to switch a channel or track between native and offloaded?

How come so called "Dark mode" became so popular that AVID had to prioritize this over so much else? What am I missing, how is it helping me in my daily work? My eyes benefits from it? It's a screen saver thing? Saves computer batteries on my laptop? It's just a silly hipster/modern thingy, that I'm just to dawn old and ignorant to ever comprehend?? Hehe, sorry... Actually a legit question to the youngest around here?

I would be very surprised if they have any native ARM support ready or near ready.
I'm actually wondering whether they'll actually continue to support.
I guess, because they have to, but unless apple silicon gives a great advantage for PT and other AVID software, I doubt they're very happy with Apple at the moment.

But who knows, they may have gotten a heads up about the change early or the port may have been a breeze and über stable.
Doesn't seem too likely to me though.
