Looks very console-y judging by the 15 degree angle.

Reminds me of an old Rock/Doris flick where both of them are trying to land the marketing account for a product which doesn't exist yet. W = VIP.

A DAW "Workstation controller"? I'd rather like to see them make something like that!

Has to be an X32 replacement or evolution.

They needed to release the Midas Heritage-D first - which was at the end of August. You would have to imagine there is a lot of technology sharing between the Midas and Behringer teams. You would also have to imagine Behringer would want to "future-proof" the W so it ends up being as big a cash cow as the X32 is.

People need to remember that the Synth part of Behringer is from the heart - but the Live Audio part of the business (X series mixers, PA speakers, etc) is where the money is really at - and I would assume helps funds the synth operations to a point.

I bet its the Wing, which is what I heard their X32 replacement was gonna be called. Think Midas PRO series capability at X32 price.

But wan't one of their first products a copy of the mackie 32-8? So a 32 channel console would make sense to me.

Not that this *needs* analysis here, but they really are two areas that feed each other. Musicians dig cool tools/toys to play with and want things they can afford. This gets them comfortable with a brand. Those musicians go on to be hired by schools, churches, venues, etc that have bigger budgets for live sound installations, and they feel comfortable with said brand based on prior experience. Then the venues hire musicians who need tools/toys.

I don't think they would announce synths at AES, would they ? More likely something mixer/sound related..

Yes, I hope it's a mixer. Hardware control or touch screen, I am open to options
