I knew it would be launched soon, you are very fast!

Excited for this new version of the plugin of the year! I'm running to try it: D

It's great that the update is free for former owners.

Can I make a donation? I would like to contribute a grain of sand.

This is my most used and depended-on plugin. It's in every mix since purchase. It was already smarter than me - that's not setting the bar very high, I know - and the AI is so easy to use and makes excellent choices.

Already a fine plugin, now even more usable. And TBProAudio's willingness to accept and implement customer input is such a breath of fresh air.

I'm going to be honest if about bought soothe for that premium price I'm sure they are kicking themselves in the ass. This is the great plugin I think that has came out since plugins have came along. Really a staple in my mixes. Great job I support you all the way.

Just set up 3 VI drum kits with the same midi loop (Modo, SSD, and SD2) to test out the new AI feature. AMAZING!!!! I volume matched each kit, selected 'DRUMS ALL' in the factory list in DSEQ2, pressed the LEARN and boom! The AI setup specific/different parameters for slope/selectivity/CH. Link/Threshold.

The AI feature is a homerun for getting setup quickly and still gives all the controls back to the user. Fantastic work TBProAudio!

I think this breaks the record for a version 2 release after the initial version one.
Not even half a year... it seems the concept of sleep is unknown in the house of TBProAudio

I tried it briefly. How does the quality mdoes work? The less quality the more "smoothed" the sound appear? And the higher quality the more precise and deeper the EQ "dig" in to the signal? Am i right?

It seems like a great plugin

Basically yes. The band-with of the individual dEQs is wider with less quality.

Can you slutz imagine what would happen if TB Pro Audio joined forces with DMG Audio?????!!!!! We'd all be out of a job because they would design the perfect plugin, and it would be called "Oh, did you mean this?!" and it would make everything sound perfect all the time.

On a serious note: TB Pro Audio, please call Dave Gamble and put your genius minds together.

Feature request (I know, this is silly as I've yet to buy the plugin.. I know I know!! Blasphemy!):

- Extra option (where you can specify GUI size etc) to always automatically convert any mid/side bands to "stereo" when switching between main Left/Right processing and Mid/Side. If at all possible, DSEQ should remember the original bands assignments so that I can toggle between these at ease.

Now it requires some manual labor (shock horror!) by copying A to B state and then manually finding all the bands that are either mid or side and changing them to stereo.

I'm also not finding any channel specific makeup gain. This would be really handy when using DSEQ at more brutal settings where mid/side gets quite differentiated. Would be nice to be able to bring back the overall gain balance between the two channels while maintaining all the current compression.

What DSEQ settings should be done to get the processing quality as in Soothe2?

Now I can see why people call Soothe2 'sterile' and 'invisible'. That's a super clean cut! Very digital.

Could be why I prefer DSEQ2. A little easier to hear the processing, in a good way, IMO.

Amazing update. DSEQ in general really helps me improving older recordings that I am preparing for streaming services (I've buckled after years...). The smart feature is an amazing time saver if music is just a hobby.

Try more gentle gain reduction. -3db, 6db max.

Softer Gain reduction ratios like 0.5, 0.67

Will get you better processing quality than soothe

You mean Soothe is for removing artifacts like TrumP (deharshening T, weakening P - it is for oeksound Spiff) , ZelenSki (deessing Z, S), PoroSHenko (smoothening SH), etc?

This is one of the funniest comments I've ever seen on GS. Good job.

And also, it somehow makes perfect sense.

Remember to set the quality for Offline Render, if that's how you bounce out.
