It's pretty massive, free or not free, sound quality first and I think it sounds very good.

My first encounter with ValhalllaSupermassive, checking out the algorithms and settings on the fly, a Pianoteq 6 hybrid mallet sound was used as input source.

You know what, @ seancostello -- I love love love Valhalla effects, it's been literally years since I've used a project that didn't include at least one, and today is my birthday. It's like you knew. This is wonderful. Thank you! I've been a Valhallevangelist for quite a while now.

Big time Valhalla supporter here, the only plug I don't own is Shimmer... and as an owner of the verbs and delay already I thought, this might just be a freebie duplicate of the stuff we've already paid for to draw in new customers... (not to undermine Sean's integrity in the least; but hey! sometimes that's business)

Anyhow, NOT THE CASE! This plugin sounds wonderful and a massive compliment to the verbs and delays already in the wild!

Shimmer might be the only reverb I've had on literally every session since it was released. A must have.

Also supermassive is killer!

I like the idea of Supermassive being "wholesome." I never thought of it that way, but it makes sense.

Take ValhallaDelay. Super sleazy, dirty delays.

ValhallaSupermassive uses clean delays. No coloration, neutral delay interpolation. Not even any filters in the delay loops to darken things up. Supermassive goes for a level of "purity" that I haven't tried for before. I tend to like dark, murky sounds, but I really like the clarity of Supermassive.

Anyway, thanks for the idea of wholesomeness, and thanks for your kind words!

An unfortunate feature of many threads about New Products these days is the endless conversation about the cost.
Sean you have nailed it here, threw that issue out the window !!

Brilliant

In all seriousness, SuperMassive is so much fun and could easily have been another of your costed products.
Very generous in these challenging CV19 times.
Thanks again.

WHAT? No way!

I don't think anyone would ever have guessed that. Heh.

I have Delay, but this is still something special, and easy to use. I'm going through the presets to start, with a really slow 5 note arp triggered from the Keystep with a synth. Fantastic. I'm getting the craving to do "space sci-fi electronica"....
