I hope they haven't changed it too much because it was my favourite ITB chorus despite not being particularly thick.i didnt like Godfazor at all and much prefer Fazortan.just hoping they have just added 2 extra delay lines and not attempted to "improve"the algorithm in anyway as it was fine as is

That's good news.

Been using all their modulation effects for some time.

The original version was good.

The new one can only be better.

Do D16 typically have upgrade options for owners of the original versions? I'm looking forward to this one.

Looking fdw to this! I also do wonder if they changed the algorithm or just added another LFO, the site doesn't make that 100% clear.

What makes you say that?
All the previous effect v2 upgrades were were £9.

Maybe you missed the intro periods.

Devastor, Decimort, Toraverb & Redopter upgrades were all €19, Fazortan was €15

Huh. Well, I hope so. Mine were never that low, and I have the Silverline collection.

Noted, but there is always the possibility that the algorithms were altered in some way that they didnt think was worth mentioning.they was in Godfazor despite that just supposedly being Fazortan with more stages and more modulation options.

9€ if you've got the first version.
No brainer, specially that the 1st version sounds good but is difficult to use because the GUI is very difficult to read...

I hope they'll not improve it "too much" : from devastor 1 to devastor 2, the sound was supposed to be improved (I didn't notice a lot of difference) but the CPU usage was much bigger and they added latency so it became difficult to use on stage for exemple...

There's a file uploader on the reply/new post editor page. You can use that to upload mp3 or wav. You can also just put a Soundcloud link.

Sounds amazing. Just threw it on a basic sawtooth init patch and flipped through the presets. Covers every chorus base you could want from subtle analog vibes, to super wide, to wobbling madness. Also looks great and uses less than 1% CPU. If you're feeling slutty it's a no brainer.

Been playing with it about an hour today. It sounds absolutely amazing! Best chorus plugin that I own/have installed (I don't have that many to be frank!).

Playing with some minutes, it sounds very similar to the first version, but is much easier to use and is more versatile (because of the cleaner/bigger GUI and the new features).

I’m very picky when it comes to chorus effects but this one sounds fantastic, it was an instant buy for me. The upgrade price from v1 was very generous! I like the warm character and the vintage vibe it can deliver. It’s so good that I feel tempted to use it even where I normally wouldn’t have reached for a chorus.
